The whole family on one page

Most families have the pieces. Few have the picture.

The operating company has its bookkeeper, the properties have a manager, the trusts have a trustee, and the collection lives in a spreadsheet, if anywhere. Ordinary software keeps each in a separate file and will not add them up.

We keep them in one set of books. Each entity closes on its own, the amounts the family and its companies owe one another are eliminated, and everything rolls into a single combined statement.

Combining balance sheet for the Baratelli family sample in Baratelli Bankable: personal holdings, cash management, investments, operating company, real estate, trusts, treasure assets and central administration, with eliminations and a combined column

What the family receives each month

One package for the family, the trustees, the advisors and the bank.

Complete financial statements

Balance sheet, income statement and statement of cash flows for each entity and for the family combined, with intercompany amounts eliminated.

Operating companies and real estate

The family business and each property entity closed every month, with the schedules a lender asks for already built.

Trust accounting

Books and reporting for family trusts, including trusts with outside trustees, kept on the same monthly close as everything else.

Investments

Brokerage, private fund commitments and holding companies carried in the same books, so the family sees what it owns and what it has committed.

Treasure assets

Art, jewelry, wine, cars and other collections inventoried with cost basis and owning entity, appraised and insured values on file, and photographs and documents kept with each piece.

Documents beside the books

Deeds, trust agreements, appraisals, policies and statements filed with the entity they belong to, so nothing has to be hunted down when it is needed.

How it works

Four steps to a family closed every month.

MapWe list every entity, trust, account and collection the family holds, and who owns what.
ConnectBank, card and brokerage feeds come into Baratelli Bankable, and each entity gets its own books inside one family file.
CloseOur team closes every entity each month and consolidates the family, with intercompany amounts eliminated.
ReviewA US CPA reviews the package before it reaches the family and the advisors it chooses to share it with.

A fixed monthly fee, quoted in writing once the family’s entities are mapped. No hourly billing.
